Kandy Muse Charges $1,000 for Cameo and It’s Horrible

Well, let’s just say that Kandy Muse decided to value her time on Cameo a “little” bit more then any other drag queen on the platform. Kandy charges 1000 dollars for a short video on Cameo – and that’s absolutely ridiculous.

People have mentioned her outrages pricing on several occasions, however Kandy is not phased. Personally, I would never pay 1000 dollars for a short video. That’s probably the mindset of an average user on Cameo. The majority of people charge 20-50 dollars and some famous celebrities a few hundred dollars, however Kandy is in a league of her own.

Her Cameo’s are far from sickening though. She records most of her stuff out of drag, so that’s what you get for 1000 dollars. But continue reading to find out why she has that ridiculous pricing!

Why is Kandy Muse charging so much?!

While it’s amazing that Kandy appeared on Season 13 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, she is in no way a major celebrity. I do understand why she has that high price though. People are spilling the tea on Cameo. Apparently they have some horrible binding contracts, therefore some creators on there opt to increase the pricing, so they don’t have to make videos.

I’m just confused by the audacity to request so much from your fans on Cameo! We are talking about 1000 dollars here. And you don’t even get a proper video message.

While I do understand that sometimes it’s hard to give back to your fans, you definitely shouldn’t charge so much money for a short video message. There is an option on Cameo to just “be temporary unavailable”. That seems far more reasonable than blatantly charging so much.
