As we all know, Jorgeous won this week’s main challenge on RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 14 Episode 6. However, the reception online was not as positive to the win as one might have expected. It’s clear Jorgeous is RuPaul’s favorite and it obviously showed. In my opinion, Jorgeous’ outfit wasn’t anything to rave about – a simple cocktail dress with no special meaning or inspiration besides looking fierce. However, Jorgeous did sell it on the runway.
Where’s the drama?!
Cynthia was involved in a car accident and she tweeted this:
Due to the accident, Cynthia Lee Fontaine couldn’t attend the gig she was booked at. Later, Cynthia had her opinions on Jorgeous winning the maxi challenge and she tweeted this:
Cynthia wrote, she was confused, because the judges always said they are looking for details and of course Jorgeus’ outfit didn’t comply with that.
Now, Jorgeous clapped back at Cynthia and wrote a message saying “That’s Why Yo Car Is Messed Up”.
I think everybody is entitled to their opinion, so I support Cynthia in that regard. However, the toxicity is obvious in the fandom. Why would Jorgeous choose to respond in that way? I’m not sure it’s entirely appropriate, since Cynthia’s opinion is valid and is nothing to be shady about. Jorgeous did not handle the situation appropriately. We all know, everybody has their own opinions. Respect that and move on. It’s not that personal or deep sis. Just move on, it’s that easy. You are feuding over a garment made on a reality show? Like, what?
I still support Jorgeous, but it’s obvious the queen needs to learn some more stuff to navigate the whole social media. She is in the spotlight and therefore all eyes are on her. It’s not even appropriate to joke about the accident, so that’s not an excuse.

Just remember everyone, be supportive and nice on social media. It’s not wrong to have an opinion, but don’t be disrespectful or hateful online. It’s not cute. However, we like some drama every now and then.
