Oh, my. Jimbo will not be easily forgotten, that’s a fact. Due to drag queen’s elimination on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs The World Episode 3, the fans were enraged! Pangina was the winning queen this week’s episode and she decided to eliminate Jimbo over Jujubee. However, the fans do not seem to agree and she received a lot of negative comments.
Jimbo’s exit came as a shock to almost everybody and people like to compare this elimination to Manila’s. I remember when Naomi eliminated Manila. That moment was really shady, since Manila’s wins outnumbered Naomi’s. Nevertheless Naomi decided to eliminate her biggest competition and so did Pangina. I don’t blame the queens. They are just playing the game and trying to win. However, it leaves a sour taste when a fan favorite is eliminated.
I like all the queens. However, Jimbo stood out from the beginning. Top two, twice in a row. That’s amazing. However, Jimbo has some flaws. The self-proclaimed “drag clown” isn’t good at lip syncing. Jimbo has an unpredictable personality and I understand how something like that might affect the competitiors.
Jimbo a troll? Ru-never!
Jimbo had an interview with several news outlets. Earlier in the week, Jimbo said Jujubee was “tired”. She added, her looks and performances weren’t on the same level as the other contestants. I do agree to some extent. Jujubee is really absent. And the judges have told her that. I just don’t get, what’s holding Jujubee back. It’s like she’s there, but not really. At least she won the reading challenge.
In another interview, Jimbo said Pangina was “jealous”. Continuing that although she was eliminated she doesn’t hold any grudges and that everything is “fine”. Pangina even texted her after the elimination.
Jimbo really is a clown. I’m sure she’s not serious half the time in these interviews. She’s probably trolling every single interviewer. Nevertheless, she is enjoying herself right now. She’s on a cruise and seems to be having the time of her life with her giant breastplates.
