Gia just doesn’t stop. I almost think she desperately needs some form of attention, even though she mostly gets backlash. One would think after so many dramatic incidences she would finally at least try to turn a new leaf, but no. Well, this time she posted a fairly bold statement on her twitter profile. She tweeted: “Say what you want bit I saw 0 beauty at this year’s dragcon… what happened to the glamour?”
Really Gia? You’re gonna talk about glamour? She even posted her DragCon look shortly after and tweeted: “On the other hand… I think I was giving? Rate my look 1-10 if you have the nerve!”
Yes Gia. How could we mortals be so utterly wrong. You are glamour. Especially your glamorous toes in THOSE shoes mawma. However, don’t come for me. I didn’t zoom in on her toes, somebody already beat me to it.
Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy Gia’s antics. She can be entertaining and cunty at times, so I almost live. However, she can be exhausting. I bet she was just trying to tell the world how she feels proud and beautiful. But gurl… Don’t put other people down. You’re not all that, calm down.
The backlash
Soon after Gia’s tweet, other Queens replied to her outrageous comment. Heidi N Closet wrote: “Now I usually don’t say anything especially when it comes to messy, foolish, and clearly incorrect social media post, but this time Ms Gia Gunn I feel like this is a step too far. As sisters we should build each other up not tear each other down. Until you learn that take a seat.”
Oceane Aqua-Black also responded to Gia’s tweet: “I think this tweet is a little bit hurtful and I say that with respect towards you without attacking you. I put a lot of effort in my drag for my first DragCon like many people. I even waved at you and you passed me by and ignored me totally.”
Even Pangina chimed in with a vague tweet: “While others worked hard and planned endless hours to create and uplift, others feel the need to be messy for no reason. Irrelevant. Taste or class is apparently not inherently available to everyone. Don’t be mad about it. Pray for them. Have an average day.”
As we see, people are not amused by Gia’s unsensitive remarks. I really think she would benefit from a social media manager. She clearly doesn’t have the talent to handle social media. It’s sad, because she has a huge platform. As a trans woman she could do so many things and focus on the positive, however she chose negativity.
Like her or not, you will hear about Gia. She keeps herself relevant. Even for the wrong reasons.
