Gurl! I think we should look back in time to see where some of our favorite Drag Race queens started. Now, don’t be too critical. Let’s just admire the glow up, shall we?
Shea Couleé
Oh wow! Shea looked quite different in 2014. Back then, the Trixie signature makeup was very popular and Shea also liked the esthetic. However, since then, her makeup style has gotten significantly more glamorous and sophisticated. Shea you look stunning!
Trixie Mattel
Trixie has come a long way, let’s just say that. Her mug at the beginning of her drag career incorporated more of a “fishy” esthetic. However, since then, Trixie has perfected the Barbie doll look we all adore. Trixie always keeps evolving her style and we love to see it.
Violet Chachki
I was not ready for this. It’s unbelievable how much Violet Chachki has transformed. Her beginnings were “rough” to say the least, but look at her now. She is amazing, talented and has a beautiful mug.
Katya Zamolodchikova
Katya looked very different in 2006. Her “essence” and beautiful face structure were there, however she has improved by leaps and bounds. She is not only gorgeous, but funny as hell.
Willam Belli
Did Willam use any makeup at the beginning? Well, it’s obvious she looked pretty way back then, however she looks absolutely stunning now.
Latrice Royale
Latrice looks fabulous in both photos. I can’t believe how feminine she looked when she started doing drag. And now? She is even more gorgeous, beautiful and a stunning diva!
Roxxxy Andrews
I just love Roxxxy. She was gorgeous then and she is gorgeous now. Well, if I’m honest she looked like somebody’s aunt back then, however she was still beautiful. Roxxxy in 2022 is a superstar and her makeup skills are divine.
Bob The Drag Queen
To be honest, Bob never excelled at makeup. However, that’s not Bob’s gig. Bob is incredibly funny and talented! I really wish she would return for All Winners Season 2. Crossing my fingers.
Alexis Michelle
Alexis Michelle’s makeup skills have improved a lot. However, she never looked really bad. Alexis has that pageant, classic type of mug that I adore so much. I hope we get to see her soon on All Stars! 😉
Raven
RuPaul’s makeup artist herself. I can’t complain about Raven, she is the “face”. So many drag queens copied her makeup style, she’s just that good. Even when she started doing drag she looked pretty. And now? Gurl. Raven is a makeup icon. She even has her own show on WOW Presents Plus called “Painted by Raven”.
Valentina
Valentina is our Latina goddess. She always looked gorgeous, however her makeup is absolutely stunning in 2022. Although many dislike her current “minimalistic” mug, I quite like the look. Nevertheless, I enjoyed her All Stars 4 mug the most.
Alaska
I have to admit, I’m not a huge fan of Alaska’s vintage makeup. Not sorry about it. However, Alaska’s makeup in 2022 is outstanding.
In Alaska’s defense, she wasn’t really going for “fishy” makeup back when she started drag. For her it was more about performance and having that genderqueer punk esthetic. It’s so interesting to see her transformation into this glamorous alien we all love today.
Acid Betty
Acid Betty was always this artistic, alienesque drag queen who only got better with her makeup skills and style. I really need her to be on a future All Stars season! It’s long overdue.
Morgan McMichaels
Morgan’s face wasn’t all that bad when she started drag. However, now she’s just amazingly beautiful. On top of that, she’s a stunning performer and a legend in LA drag scene.
Jinkx Monsoon
Jinkx got a lot of criticism back when she was on season 5 of RuPaul’s Drag Race. She was quite new to drag back then, she struggled with her makeup and drag looks. Nevertheless, her personality got her through.
And now? She’s the Queen of All Queens! And rightfully so. Not only is her mug amazingly gorgeous, her acting and comedy skills are still unsurpassed.
Thorgy Thor
Thorgy was never a makeup queen. She was always about art, music and performance. However, her makeup skills have improved tremendously. Thorgy in 2022 looks thorgeous and I wish she would return for another All Stars season. They really did her dirty on All Stars 3.
Bimini
Bimini looked quite different when she started drag. She actually experimented a lot until she found her signature look. However, Bimini is not resting. She keeps evolving her looks and drag persona.
Gigi Goode
Gigi is undeniably gorgeous. She always went for a more “femme”, “fishy” look. However she’s also a great performer. I’m sure we’ll be seeing her on a future All Stars season!
Mayhem Miller
OMG! Mayhem looked so cute! Her drag style has evolved tremendously over the years and she IS that girl. But she’s also very sweet and caring! Mayhem, we need to see you on TV again!
Sasha Velour
Sasha has come a long way. Just look at the difference! She has created her own, unique makeup style. Everybody remembers and loves those eyebrows! Sasha continues to amaze her fans with her unique fashion and art performances. Will we see her on a future All Winners season?
Miz Cracker
What a difference! Miz Cracker went from scary to hot in few years. I’m actually quite impressed with her current makeup skills, although she’s not a makeup queen. Too bad her competitor on All Stars 5 was Shea, because I really think Miz Cracker is an insanely talented drag queen.
Monét X Change
Look at our gurl Monét X Change! She has improved so much! Not only in the makeup department, but also in fashion honey! She just brings joy to the stage and I’m so happy to see her as a mentor on Celebrity Drag Race.
Manila Luzon
Our pineapple queen has really blossomed. I always loved her signature blonde hair streak, however her makeup is legendary. She was one of the first Drag Race queens to release a full length drag makeup tutorial on YouTube. Even Sasha Velour was inspired by Manila!
All Stars 4 was never the same after Manila left. She proved to be an amazing competitor and I hope she considers returning to a future All Stars season!
Alyssa Edwards
What is going on here, on this day?! What kind of bafoonery, riggory and tomfoolery possessed Alyssa in the first photo?! Well, I don’t know. However she’s one of the most gorgeous and captivating queens to ever appear on RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Detox
Detox was always a wild child. Very punk and against the norm! Through the years she has mastered drag to the point where I don’t really think she can “top” herself. I really like her personality and I need to see her on the show again! It’s been too long!
Symone
Symone looked decent even when she started drag. However, her mug in 2022 looks absolutely divine. I honestly think she’s one of the most beautiful winners we’ve had on RuPaul’s Drag Race. Not to mention her stunning performances! She is the full package.
Gottmik
Gottmik is a makeup artist and it’s pretty obvious. Even her beginnings were stunning. However, she managed to create such a signature style it’s almost impossible to confuse her with another drag queen. That severe beat is unforgettable.
Raja
The iconic Raja. I just adore her spirit. Even in the 90s she looked absolutely fascinating. I really enjoyed her on the recent season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 7. Her makeup skills are divine and her fashion sense is unparalleled. Raja is and will always be a true eye-con!
Priyanka
OMG! Priyanka! Look at her! I mean… It’s pretty obvious she’s improved a lot. An amazing glow up!
