You surprised? Really? Well, let’s start off by saying this post is in no way a spoiler. I would never ever… But let’s be honest. Daya was already eliminated and she came back. She has been doing fairly good, however at this point it might be a little too late.
Daya was good in this week’s Rusical and her outfit inspired by the band “Kiss” was very cool. However, there are so many amazing queens still there. She might get outshined very quickly as the competition progresses. In the whole herstory of Drag Race, never has a comeback queen won a season. Therefore, it’s very unlikely for Daya Betty to even reach the top 4.
But how? Well have you seen the way she’s edited? Producers are definitely not fond of Daya. She seems very cold and unapproachable, which is not a winners edit. And by the way, that’s a thing. On RuPaul’s Drag Race, when a queen gets a winners edit, we can sense it very soon. And Daya is not it.
If I’m honest, I can’t get past her uninspired “Pink” talent show. It was not the tea jush. Nothing against her, I’m just observing the show.
She does bring IT on the runway though and I think she’s a great drag queen. However, I just don’t think she’s gonna win based on the edit.
