Let’s agree that Jujubee was never the frontrunner on UK vs The World. I didn’t think she would even make it to the finale. However, in the recent episode, Jujubee has risen to the top for the first time since All Stars 5. If anything, this season is chaotic as hell, so nothing could surprise us, right?
Well, Jujubee also admitted to the other contestants that she wanted to be underestimated. This is so weird, but at the same time I do understand you have to strategize to win the game. I know Jujubee is a legendary drag queen. She has the complete package and she’s getting better. However, I’m really not used to watching a season of RuPaul’s Drag Race where all the front runners get eliminated before the mediocre queens.
Is Jujubee the mastermind behind the lipstick format?
Jujubee didn’t show her best on UK vs The World. She simply didn’t. But was that all a plan? To make her seem a weak contestant so she could just slide into the finale and slay when it matters? Let’s not forget her horrible outfits. Please. That’s just not on a Drag Race level. No contestant would ever think those outfits are worthy of the main stage. However, if Jujubee planned that whole storyline, it would have made sense.
Jujubee proved many times she’s a fierce competition. She’s smart, funny and shady AF. It wouldn’t surprise me, if Jujubee planned this whole thing to happen. Let’s not forget, she always made it to the finale. In every season she competed. Well, except Queen of the Universe, but that’s a singing show.
I can’t believe we’re left here. Pangina and Jimbo went home and Jujubee is still there. She did kind of redeem herself in the last episode. She looked good and her lip sync performance against Mo Heart was stellar.
