Oh, no! Jimbo got eliminated this week on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs The World Episode 3! Fandom was shook to the core when Pangina pulled Jimbo’s lipstick and decided to send her home. This was totally unexpected and of course Pangina received a lot of hate online yet again. Well, Canada’s pretty pissed, let’s just say that.
Jimbo was a stand out, an icon if you will. A clear frontrunner and an amazing drag queen. However, the Rusical was her downfall this week, because her performance was not up to par with other competitors. I don’t know what to say, as I’m a big Jimbo fan and I really thought her performance was not bottom worthy. I was certain Baga would be in the bottom but oh well… In my opinion, Jimbo deserved to be at least safe.
Is Jimbo bitter about Jujubee staying?
Jimbo had an interview with Attitude Magazine and she explained some stuff in detail. She didn’t like the All Stars lip sync format with queens eliminating each other and she preferred the regular lip sync for your life. Jimbo said it’s a “cop out” and “lazy”, because the contestants are already under a lot of pressure in the competition.
Jimbo also had some opinions regarding Jujubee. She said Jujubee is probably “really tired“, because she was rejected so many times by RuPaul, so therefore she’s not bringing it. Adding that Jujubee is probably “trying hard”, but “her best just isn’t good enough“.
Now, let me say that Jimbo is playing and being funny most of the time. She said her time on Drag Race was great and she does want to return for more.
Although Pangina eliminated Jimbo, I hope everybody realizes that sending hate over a TV show is not cute. It’s that simple. Support your favorite queen, but don’t leave nasty comments.
I think the judging on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs The World is definitely chaotic and I hope it improves over the next weeks. Jimbo was a huge threat and now Baga and Jujubee are STILL there…
