Ohhhh gurl! This episode was… Meh! As soon as the girls arrive into the workroom, we find out Kornbread injured her ankle and had to leave the competition. Whyyyy Kornbread, we were all ROOTING for you, how dare you?!!! But enough about Tyra, let’s get serious. I’m sad Kornbread had to leave, she had so much energy and personality. She was definitely winner material and I hope she returns for Season 15 or some form of All Stars. However, RuPaul didn’t specifically invite her back. Not sure what that was about. Kornbread we wish you a smooth recovery and hope to see you back on our TV screens in the near future!
Here’s the sneak peek for Episode 5!
Mini Challenge – It gets sexy!
Oh my, that was a mini challenge I had to replay over and over again. In fact for me, this mini challenge was better than the main challenge. The queens had to pop balloons by thrusting their junk against pit crews butts. Oh my, how I enjoyed watching small Jorgeous squeaking like a chihuahua thrusting against Bryce’s butt. In addition, the look on Bryce’s face was priceless. The colored confetti inside the balloons revealed to which group the queen would belong in the maxi challenge.
I also enjoyed our straight queen being appalled in this challenge, however she had to do it as Jasmine Kennedie nicely put it. I noticed some people online saying that’s bullying what they (the production company) did to Maddy in this challenge, however I have to say, gurls have several seats. People play this game on many occasions and it’s supposed to be fun. It’s a drag TV show and Maddy is a big fan and a drag queen herself, therefore she knew what she was signing up for.
Maxi Challenge!
With the help of Tempest DuJour, Jaymes Mansfield, and Kahmora Hall, the Queens created moving PSAs for the ‘Save A Queen’ foundation. Of course they had to make it funny. For me, Angeria stood out the most. Even though she said, she’s not an actress, she nailed it yet again. I also liked Willow Pill and Lady Camden. Here is the Maxi Challenge Video!
I didn’t enjoy Jorgeous. She was very nervous and lacked confidence. Orion Story was also meh, I forgot she was there. Why did she even outlast Alyssa Hunter? I’m so confused.
The judging!
Ava Max was the guest judge this week. The runway category was Spring has sprung.
Opinions are like a..holes, everybody has one!
I liked Willow Pill’s look. Again, it was something unexpected, sweet yet creepy. She had a house on her head. Let that sink in. The whole outfit was campy and fabulous. I enjoyed Willow’s look this week and I hopes she continues to gag us.
Lady Camden was also pretty amazing. The tea spill gimmick was cute and charming, however her outfit wasn’t “spring” enough.
I absolutely hated Deja Skye’s look. What even? She looked like a suburban mom dressed up as a sad bunny. And Orion Story, gurl. I liked how she looked sexy, however it was too simple. The outfit can’t be called an outfit if you’re wearing bra and panties (shout out to Jasmine Masters)! And Maddy? She tried, let’s just say that. Her look was referential yet not executed to the standards of Drag Race. I didn’t particularly enjoy Maddy, however she’s still there. Kerri’s look was also a miss for me. I think she took her critiques the past episode too literally.
Bosco won the challenge and I was confused. Like, how? She didn’t stand out in the challenge not particularly on the runway. I guess, they couldn’t give another win to Angeria or Willow, so they gave it to Bosco.
Lana Del Rey and Chihuahua were in the bottom and had to lip sync. Gurl. Orion was sleeping through the whole lip sync and she took her shoes off. What was that? You can’t do that on a drag show. Jorgeous slayed the song and continued on in the competition. Orion Story sashayed away and not even the RuPaul chocolate could save her.
What did you think about this episode? Ava Max was so dull, I forgot she was there. She gave me very Gigi Hadid and Chanel Iman vibes. Tell me what you think! Write a comment. Let’s chat!
