Well, well… The girls are fighting yet again! This time we have India Ferrah vs The World! So what happened this time? Well, you know India Ferrah, right? This queen was on Season 3 and All Stars 5 of RuPaul’s Drag Race. I never really understood India’s appeal (did she really have any?), but she appeared to be a major shit stirrer on All Stars 5. She infamously lied to Shea Couleé and tried to save herself from being eliminated. And I do understand the competition is a pressure cooker, however why do you have to lie, if you damn well know that everything is gonna be broadcast on tv?
But enough about the past. India has changed, right? Well, not really. This is how it all started.
This week’s Pit Stop guest was Derrick Barry. We all know how much Derrick and India dislike each other. Derrick talked to Bob about India at the beginning of the Pit Stop episode and India took it personally. Mawma, India was pressed. And I really didn’t understand why. Derrick just answered Bob’s question. Bob was joking about Alexis Matteo saying “that’s why Derrick don’t like you” on All Stars 5. Derrick said she still likes working with her. Bob then asked if she meant India and Derrick replied with a firm no. So I really don’t get why India was so offended. Come on gurl, we done already done known that Derrick doesn’t like working with you.
Here is this week’s Pit Stop episode that started it all:
India Farrah has had it officially!
For some weird reason India Farrah furiously tweeted this: “Guess that drag race live gig ain’t keeping you THAT busy since my name is still in that crusty ass mouth.” She was obviously referring to Derrick on the Pit Stop, however she didn’t tag anyone.
Derrick then replied with: “She thinks I can’t keep her name out of my mouth, yet she can’t keep plaque out of hers.”
Derrick was literally shading India about her teeth hygiene. Soon after Derrick’s post, everybody started to post India’s photo with a zoom on her dental plaque.
Derrick Barry’s shady post got a lot of approval. People don’t seem to like India Ferrah very much… Maybe it’s not appropriate to joke about someone’s oral hygiene, however India did come for Derrick first. And let’s not forget – they are drag queens, so it’s natural for them to be shady.
India Ferrah didn’t stop mawma…
Later that day, India Ferrah once again discussed the drama on Twitter by posting: “SO VERY thankful I work for myself and that I’m not a “slave” for someone paying pennies while other cast members make 10x the amount of pay you are. Go enjoy the rest of those shows.”
Soon after India’s post, Shea Couleé replied to her: “The choice to say you’re not a “slave” on Juneteenth is truly camp. You’ve outdone yourself sis…”
India quickly deleted her tweet and replied to Shea: “Oh here we go… I forgot I can’t tweet anything without it being racist or taken offensively. Thank you for reminding me why I don’t play the games yall choose to play. Not all of us are “perfect”…”
Shea then confronted her about deleting her tweet to which India replied: “Yes because just like on AS5 you turned something into something it was NOT! Very you sis!”
Shea responded with: “You literally LIED and got caught up in your shenanigans. But blame me for your downfall. Good luck with all of your bookings. I hear shark week is really gonna be amazing this year…”
India’s downfall…
Soon after Shea’s reply, other queens chimed in. Farrah Moan tweeted: “Lmao I couldn’t see the tweet cuz whoever it is I have blocked and then found out it’s India Ferrah.”
Alexis Matteo tweeted: “Is she looking for attention?”
Tatianna just replied with: “Jesus Christ.”
India Ferrah then tried to “apologize”, however it didn’t go over well with the fandom. She tweeted: “Dear Twitter and Twitter Trolls, please accept my sincerest apologies for tweeting a Britney Spears song reference on Juneteenth. I truly did not mean any harm or negativity by it. Sending love and peace to you all!”
India Ferrah’s meltdown…
India wasn’t done just yet. She had a meltdown after the negative comments started pouring in. She wrote a lengthy post and then deleted her Twitter account.
Soon after that, India Ferrah’s husband called Derrick, Alexis and Shea “monsters” over this online drama.
Is it over yet?
What’s my opinion? India Ferrah should get some social media help. Like a manager or someone who will check her posts in advance. Like, really gurl? It’s just bizarre to me how someone who is a media personality doesn’t have her social media in check. You shouldn’t be tweeting some bullshit because of a YouTube series about Drag Race…
It’s evident – people don’t like India Ferrah and I’m not sure she can easily recover from this drama. She is a talented drag queen, however she hasn’t been doing much since All Stars 5. She doesn’t have many bookings and is currently not doing herself any favors by surrounding herself with drama.
This is exhausting and I need a nap.
