When the cast of All Stars 7 was announced we were all gagged. The queens are absolutely fantastic and the fandom was excited yet again. I’ll be honest, when I saw Monét X Change I immediately and loudly asked “Where’s Bob?” And the internet had similar thoughts. People were speculating that Bob didn’t want to participate in this season because the cash prize was too low.
However, we have more answers. During the most recent Patreon exclusive episode of the Sibling Rivalry podcast, Monét X Change and Bob reviewed the entrance looks and promo looks for each of the eight contestants featured on All Stars 7.
Was Bub busy? Is the cash prize too low?
Bob the Drag Queen addressed why she isn’t on All Stars 7: “I want everyone to know I was not busy. I literally just did not get a call. They did not reach out to me. So I want everyone to know: I was free as a bird with its tail in the breeze. I was helping Monét get ready, actually.”
The fans were shocked that Bob is not a part of All Stars 7, but apparently so is Bob. In a recent Instagram post, Bob was seen reacting to this season’s announcement and side-eying the fact that she isn’t in this cast. Bob also tweeted out, “Imagine my shock this morning.”
Many fans think Bob wasn’t invited, because she’s reserved for another All Winners season, which might actually be true. Imagine if they invited every single winner to compete in only one season. They wouldn’t have any material to shoot another season.
Many are wondering why Alaska isn’t on. Fans are speculating because she’s connected to Willam Belli, who is not on good terms with the Drag Race production company Wow Presents. However, we don’t know for sure and she might just be reserved for a future season of All Stars.
What do you think about this situation? I would love to see Bob and Monét X Change compete against each other. Leave a comment! Let’s chat!
